| EX2 Off-Road Half Marathon | ||
13 Miles Hit the trail and leave the road behind in the fourth annual EX2 Off-Road Half Marathon. Held in one of the most beautiful parks in the Washington DC metro area, this single loop race course has it all, from forested hiking trails, to wide fire roads, to streamside single-track. Plus, the course includes almost no pavement.
Operated by the National Park Service, with 15,000 acres, 37 miles of trails, and 21 miles of fire roads and pavement, Prince William Forest Park has stunning terrain and a truly remote feel for being just 30 minutes south of Washington DC. Competitors have loved this race in previous years and we are projecting a sold out event with 350 athletes in 2008. So, sign up early to reserve your spot on the starting line!  |
