Charity Partners

Helping those that help our local communities
Home → About EX2 → Charity Partners

Everything we do is built on a foundation of ethics and honesty, and we believe that doing the right thing matters. We also believe in conscious capitalism where successful businesses lead with passion, purpose, and conviction. We strive to make a positive difference in people’s lives, and make our corner of the world a better place.

We do this primarily by creating excellent experiences…events that provide an opportunity for personal challenge and growth and an environment for establishing a nurturing community.

We also do this through our charity partner program.

We formed our charity partner program in May of 2020 and since then our events have generated over $170,000 and significant awareness for our non-profit partners.

The program is straightforward and asks for nothing in return from our non-profit partners.  We simply add a donation opportunity to the registration flow for our events. After the event, we add 10% to the total donations received and send a check to the non-profit. Information about the non-profit is also included in all pre and post-race communications to participants.

If you are interested in learning more about our program or becoming a charity partner, please contact Andy Bacon at 703-338-3965 or info@ex2adventures.com

The organizations that we have supported along with fundraising totals for each are listed below. We encourage you to learn more about these amazing organizations and the important work that they do for our community.

Homestretch, based in Falls Church, VA, is a non-profit organization designed to address the root causes of homelessness for each family and reverse it. All Homestretch clients have children under the age of 18, and in fact the average age of someone in Homestretch is only 8 years old. Homestretch is one of the few programs in the country with the comprehensive services to gather each family, address each dynamic, and enable permanent change. Homestretch families are able to achieve transformational change because they have, perhaps for the first time, the chance to address every problem in their lives with sufficient support to make swift and lasting progress.
